A law firm filed suit against Boeing in Seattle Thursday, representing the families of 17 passengers who died when Lion Air flight JT 610 crashed Oct. 29 in Indonesia. The suit alleges the crash that killed 189 people was caused by the failure of a new automated flight control system Boeing installed on the 737 MAX and that Boeing failed to properly inform pilots about its existence.
